I’m not sure if Suprette does the best burger in town, but it sure serves up a pretty damn awesome one.
Their Suprette Burger (S$25 for the basic one not including add-ons) features a juicy, moist minced beef patty that was full of flavour and rested gently between a fluffy buttered and toasted-to-a-lovely-crisp bun.

I really liked how the elements of their burgers come together to form cohesive, well constructed wholes. The fries were pretty decent too – light and crispy.
The Volcano Chicken (S$18) with chipotle BBQ cream sauce, mashed potato and vegetables fared well on taste too.
The chicken thigh fillet was tender and bursting with natural juices, and the sauce had a good tangy kick (might be a bit too spicy for some people though).

Situated within the charming, old school Kam Leng Hotel in Jalan Besar, Suprette gives off a somewhat 60s vibe that is fun and refreshing.

I had a lovely time there and would go back to Suprette again if I ever get a craving for burgers. The variety in the food menu is a little limited, but there are a range of interesting craft beers and house cocktails for selection as well.

It was not too crowded on the Thursday and Friday nights on which I went, making it possible for decent conversation.
