I love receiving parcels. The anticipation of something new, the thrill of having it in your hands and tearing open (or lovingly unwrapping, if you prefer) the packaging to reveal what is within, is quite a unique experience.
So when my first Boxgreen arrived, I was all abound with excitement – not knowing what this little brown box would yield.

Boxgreen aims to be a one-stop shop that delivers deliciously wholesome snacks into your hands in super hassle-free way. Great for people who love to snack yet trying to opt for a healthier lifestyle (like me).
Each snack contains wholesome ingredients – with no artificial sweeteners, flavours or colours – though some of them do have a bit of sugar, salt, palm oil etc so take note if you’re against any additives at all. People who eat 100% clean, I salute you.

In the June box, I discovered a few fun and fruity snacks – the Coco Berry Smoothie, Tart & Tangy Raspberry and Natural Sun Dried Apricots, as well as a savoury and crunchy one, the Peanut Pretzel Muddy Bites. The various different colours and shapes and sizes were a feast for the eyes indeed!
At first 4 packs of 80g snacks in my mind seemed like not very much but almost three weeks later, I still have more than half of these left! Erm, apparently I don’t snack as much as I thought, or perhaps these little morsels are more filling than they look.

The Natural Sun Dried Apricots were an easy snack on its own – big, plump and fun to munch on. They tasted more natural and a bit less sweet than the usual supermarket variety.

For the Coco Berry Smoothie and Tart & Tangy Raspberry, I found that these served really well as toppings for my yoghurt and muesli bowls, providing additional flavours and textures to these sometimes boring breakfasts.

I like that there’s a good mix of fruit in these packs – the former with dried raspberries, cranberries, pineapples and coconut (what a summery mix) and the latter with dried cranberries and apples. These are also good on their own as little snacks.

For S$19.90/month (or less if you subscribe for a longer duration), Boxgreen will deliver a box of 4 snacks, either the ‘flavours of the month’ (if you like surprises) or of your choice (pick up to 8 options to put in your ‘pantry’ in case any are sold out).
For avid snackers, there is a wide variety of around 30 types of nutritious snacks which should satisfy different preferences and cravings.

Definitely a viable (seeing as how it is pretty healthy) and super convenient (delivered to you, no need to think so hard about what to choose etc) option to consider if you are the sort who loves snacking!
A cool thing about this is that for every box delivered, they donate a meal through Willing Hearts to help the underprivileged, needy, and other marginalised people in Singapore. I think that is totally awesome.
If this is totally your thing and you want to get a monthly dose of some natural snacks, head over to Boxgreen and use my discount code: ‘ingredientsofhappiness20‘ for 20% off your first box!
