Zhen Zhen Porridge, Maxwell Market

Just a quick post on the porridge at Zhen Zhen in Maxwell Market – having seen endless queues there for a number of days, I finally decided to try it. I am totally amazed at the amount of ingredients they put in it – it was chock full of fish, ginger slices and century egg, and REALLY generous portions of fried shallots, chai poh, and chopped spring onions. Plus it was rather tasty; I think it was the sesame oil and what not. But at $3, it was really value(and taste)-for-money!

I really should eat at hawker centres more often. Lol.
